Koh Tarutao, Satun Province, is "Unseen New Chapters", one of five Southern Unseen attractions. An island of legends Treasures, secret tunnels, pirates, hazardous animals, and toxic flora.
It is the first marine national park in Thailand. The tale of the "Pirates of Tarutao" comes from a place known for its natural beauty and its history as a prison detention center. This story has been told many times in movies and books.
