Residence of the Governor of Ranong was founded in the year 1877 AD by Phraya Rattana Setthi (Khaw Sim Kong), who gave it to Phraya Damrong Sucharit Maha Sakhon (Khosu Chiang), the first governor of Ranong. It served as the repository of the lineage history of the Na Ranong family and was used in ancestral worship ceremonies according to tradition. Additionally, it houses other significant items, such as a plaque with Chinese characters that translate to "Rising Sun," and a stone inscription from King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), open for public visiting every day from 07:00 to 18:00.
