Nang Thong Beach is a beach with black sand that is formed from tin mines in the Khao Lak area. It used to be a significant mining industry site in Thailand in the past. This area is also the location of the lighthouse built after the Tsunami in 2004. Moreover, it is another beautiful spot to watch the sunset in Phang Nga. The size of the lighthouse is not big, but it is a popular photo spot for tourists who visit regularly.

The highlight is the long sandy beach jutting out into the sea and pointing to the small island which is called “Koh Nui”. The sea is gradually separated by the white sand that will appear to amazingly connect the two islands at low tide, this tidal phenomenon is called the separated sea “Talay Waek Tha Khao" or "Talay Waek Koh Nui”.

Khao Na Yak is part of the Thai Mueang beach. There are huge boulders in front of the beach. And it's easy to travel by boat, then, walk through the Savanna grassland to Khao Na Yak.
