Chumphon National Museum was constructed in the year 1995. It's a two-story building situated on a 7-rais plot of land. The main focus of the museum is to exhibit the history of Chumphon Province, primarily on the second floor. This floor is divided into 8 sections, including: Chumphon Province in the present day, the prehistoric history of Chumphon, developments during the early history of Chumphon, Chumphon during historical times, Chumphon and World War II, natural history and heritage of Chumphon Province, the royal history and royal duties of His Royal Highness Admiral Prince Abhakara Kiartivongse, Prince of Chumphon, and Chumphon and Typhoon Gay.
